Already 60 registered

With a few days left to go, we are already at 60 registrations, there could be upwards of 80! Praise the Lord!!!

Workday

We had a really good planning meeting last Saturday morning! Retreat is not too far away. We are having a workday to do some last minute things for retreat on Saturday, Sept. 20th, starting at 9:00. This will again be at Antioch Christian Church in Wichita. Have a great week! ~Andrea

Pictures!

Terri Carrier put together a scrapbook of pictures and programs from Women's Retreat over the past many years. She has moved to Florida and so has turned that over to me. If you have any pictures from past retreats that you would like to give to me to be put in this album, I would appreciate it. There are not very many pictures from last year or the year before. You can email me pictures, snail mail me pictures, or bring pictures to me on Saturday at the planning meeting. Thanks a bunch! ~Andrea

Planning Meeting this Saturday!

There is a planning meeting this Saturday, August 23rd, at Antioch Christian Church in Wichita. The address is 3741 W. 15th, near 13th and West St. It is at 10:00 am. Anyone interested in hearing our plans for retreat and maybe even giving her 2 cents worth is welcome to come!

I'm working on putting together music for the retreat and would like some input from you. We want to make this a worshipful experience that brings us into true fellowship with God so give me your input! Lunch outing after last meeting!!!

Next Meeting and a little of what happened this time...

I know it's still a couple months out, but wanted to let you know in advance that there is still time to get in on the planning. Since, the majority of the people who came to the last meeting were from around Wichita, our next meeting is going to be there, at Antioch Christian Church on August 23^rd at 10:00 a.m.

At the last meeting we got the schedule ironed out! I know those involved with the planning are sooo excited and VERY on board with all the plans they are making! If you have any comments, we'd love to hear them!

You should be receiving two posters and an informative letter in the next week. If you don't see them showing up around our church, let us know and we will get some directly to you!
